A lot of the fascia and gutter systems fitted to New Zealand houses since the early
1980s are no longer manufactured. When one starts to fail, there is nothing to repair
it with, so the options have been to improvise with standard spouting components or
to rebuild the roof edge properly and pay for it.
RIGS sits in between. It is a purpose-made COLORSTEEL system in three sizes, drawn to
fit over or replace what is already up there, and it covers the systems below. The
photographs are supplied by RIGS: each pairs an example of the original system with
an example of the finished result.
